PDC Development Tour – Event 17

Josh competed in the first of three PDC Development tour events last weekend (DT17,DT18 and DT19).

In the first round he took on the inform Junior European champion Jim Moston, Josh won comfortably 4-1 including a stunning 144 finish on the way to victory, In Round Two he faced Colin Roelofs it was a very tight match which Josh ended up winning in a deciding leg 4-3.

In the third round he took on Matt Dicken, Josh was dominant in a 4-2 to book his place in the Last 32 in which he faced Reece Robinson and Josh dominated the game and won 4-2 to seal a spot in the last 16 against Tour Card holder Mike de Decker, it was a fantastic match as De Decker scored like a man possessed hitting 3 x 180’s and a 177 incuding two maximums in one leg, the match went to a deciding leg and De Decker left a finish after nine darts for the win and Josh took out a stunning 152 finish to win and set up a quarter final with the impressive Dutchman Justin van Tergouw.

It was a very close game, Josh didn’t quite get going at the key points in the match and the Dutchman won 4-2.
